I encountered a user today who had managed to change their lock screen PIN and subsequently forgot it. This is usualyl a chore but recoverable via your Google account on most Android devices but Samsung appears to have it's own version of this. If you encounter someone with this problem, get them to login to their Samsung account on a desktop and click the "Remote Unlock" option - they can then use their Samsung account password to remotely unlock the device and remove the PIN / Pattern / Password completely from the phone.
